Our approach to diversity and inclusion is important as it reflects who we are, and who we want to be, as a firm. If we are to achieve our aim to be the best law firm we can be, we must recruit and retain the best possible range of talent – and if we are to meet our commitment to make a positive impact on society, we must also widen our recruitment pool.
Within the firm, our programmes cover a wide range of areas including age; disability; ethnicity and multiculturalism; faith; gender, sexual orientation and gender identity; social inclusion; and work/life balance, and we have an interactive training programme to bring diversity issues more actively to staff's awareness.
Externally we partner with organisations including Race for Opportunity, Stonewall, The Employers' Forums on Age, Disability and Religion, and others, to ensure that we keep up to date with best practice in the field. We also regularly participate in research projects into diversity and inclusion issues with organisations such as Cass Business School to maintain our current knowledge and knowhow.
