Our award-winning Brussels office represents a range of clients in cutting-edge litigation, anti-trust and trade matters. Our practice includes advising on:
- behavioural competition investigations
- competition litigation
- merger clearance
- public procurement
- State aids
Our high profile WTO and trade practice is also run from Brussels and has been involved in many of the most important recent cases.
We work as a seamless team with our colleagues in London and Paris and in a joint EU/competition group with alliance partners Gleiss Lutz and Stibbe. Both have strong competition practices in Brussels.
The office is located in the heart of the European area, close to the European Commission, the European Parliament and the European Council. Brussels' famous Grand Place is only a short walk from the office: in the city centre you can find a variety of restaurants (ranging from traditional Belgian to Russian), bars and shops.
The Brussels office organises social events on a regular basis, including summer and Christmas parties and informal monthly get-togethers. We also organise welcome dinners for trainees from our London office: every six months a trainee comes out to Brussels to carry out six months of their training contract. The office also sponsors a range of theatre and other events.
