Herbert Smith advises Halliburton on contested takeover battle for Expro

Herbert Smith advised Halliburton Company regarding the groundbreaking contested takeover battle for control of Expro International Group plc, from which Halliburton withdrew on 20th June.
 
Working closely with Halliburton's US legal advisers, the Herbert Smith team advising Halliburton was led by partners James Palmer and Malcolm Lombers.  The other partners in the team consisted of Ewen Fergusson and Dina Albagli (Finance), Peter Burrell and Damien Byrne Hill (Litigation), and Howard Murray (Tax).
