Alexei Roudiak is a partner in the corporate division of Herbert Smith CIS. He has developed a broad and dynamic practice that covers domestic and international M&A. He has gained particular experience in the area of natural resources and banking sector. Alexei has been successfully representing private equity clients on deals in various industries (telecom, pharmaceutical, food & beverages, automotive, retail and others).
Alexei advises corporate clients on highly particularised issues of law, such as investments involving state participants and off-shore structuring issues, implementation of anti-dilution techniques and dealing with anti-trust issues. He has advised international financial institutions regarding structuring and documenting investments in Russia, either directly or through a number of regional venture funds.
Alexei joined the firm from Salans where he worked since 1996 both in Moscow and Paris. Prior to this, he worked at Deloitte & Touche Tomatsu.
