Céline Bey
Céline joined our Paris IP/IT practice in March 2003 as a senior associate. After studying French law at the Sorbonne as part of her initial degree, she completed a DESS in Intellectual Property and Information Technology at Paris XI University in 1996 and graduated from the Paris Political Sciences Institute. She was admitted to the French Bar (Cour d'Appel de Paris) in 1998.
Prior to joining Herbert Smith, Céline worked in the Paris office of a leading international law firm and in a French law firm.
Céline is an expert in contentious and non-contentious IP and IT issues. Her experience spans more than 10 years in IP litigation with an emphasis on patents (including pharmaceutical/life sciences) as well as on trademark and copyright disputes especially relating to the internet.
Céline speaks fluent French and English.
