Chris has been with Herbert Smith for over 26 years. He chairs the India Practice and spends one or two weeks a month in India with clients and contacts. He regularly speaks at conferences on cross border deals involving India including at the All India Management Association, the Commonwealth Business Forum and the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. Chris leads the programme of events with the National Law Schools in India which includes an annual lecture series with the Dean of the Oxford Law Faculty.
Chris is also the Joint Italian Relationship Partner for the firm and he recently spent six years as the Graduate Recruitment Partner.
In addition to working in India and Europe, Chris has also been based in Hong Kong and in Singapore where he was managing partner for SE Asia.
