Dorothy specialises in all aspects of EU and competition law including mergers, market investigations, anti competitive practices and agreements and State aids.
Dorothy has an extensive background in financial and banking law and chairs the City of London law society financial law committee. She also works on matters involving regulatory law and her experience spans several fields including transport, the utilities, broadcasting and other media. Dorothy is head of the firm’s public procurement law unit.

- Time Warner on numerous competition issues, including their intervention in the EU clearance of the Stream/Telepiu merger, the French clearance of the Canal +/TPS merger and the Spanish competition authorities' review of film "output" contracts with Spanish television companies
- Bank of Ireland on substantial matters including the "super-complaint" about personal current accounts in Northern Ireland, the OFT's ongoing investigation into payment cards
- Stagecoach on numerous merger clearances related to rail franchises and the acquisition of interests in bus companies
- London and Continental Railways on the State aid, merger control and regulatory aspects of its appointment to build the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and on the subsequent reorganisation of the business with funding, supported by UK Government guarantees, enabling the Channel Tunnel Rail Link to be built
