Howard Watson
Howard specialises in health and safety, product liability and complex high value personal injury claims.
His health and safety practice comprises advising defendants in relation to investigations and prosecutions by statutory authorities arising from incidents causing serious injury and death. He is leading the team advising Chevron in relation to the ongoing HSE/EA investigation following the explosion at the Buncefield Oil Depot. He also advises clients upon their health and safety obligations and liabilities within the statutory framework in which they operate.
He advises a wide range of different industry sectors upon product liability issues, including product recall, and has advised clients in relation to claims resulting in test actions involving issues at the forefront of scientific knowledge, including radio frequency radiation, organophosphates and deep vein thrombosis.
The focus of his personal injury practice is upon catastrophic injury claims, including paraplegia. He specialises in group litigation and has been involved in a number of high profile claims over recent years.
