Paul has over twenty-five years experience in the energy sector, with wide experience in the international oil, gas and LNG sectors. He has also been much involved in disputes (litigation, arbitration and expert determinations) and matters of public international law as they apply to the oil and gas sector.
He is a member of organisations such as the International Bar Association, the Energy Institute and the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators. He lectures and writes widely and recent works include "Transnational Gas Projects and their Agreements" and "Expropriation and Resource Nationalism in the Petroleum Sector". He has also edited the leading book "Liquefied Natural Gas - The Law and Business of LNG".
