Pierre-Nicolas Sanzey

Pierre-Nicolas has been member of the Paris Bar since 1999, having previously worked as an in-house lawyer at Crédit Immobilier de France.  After seven years spent working for a leading French law firm, he joined Herbert Smith in 2005 and became a partner in 2008.

Pierre-Nicolas specialises in real estate investment and construction matters, advising French and foreign companies (particularly German funds) on their acquisitions and disposals of real estate property or real estate companies, commercial leases and construction projects through contractors' agreements and development contracts.

He is of French mother tongue and speaks fluent English.

Construction and development

  • Carlyle Real Estate Advisors on the refurbishment of a 40,000 m² office building in Paris
  • Sogelym Steiner on the construction and "off the plan" sale of "Tour Oxygène" in Lyon comprising the first "HQE" (high environmental quality) office tower (29,000 m²), a 14,000 m² shopping centre and a 420 space car park
