Simon is a highly regarded cross-border M&A specialist. Before joining the firm in Hong Kong as a partner in 2000, he had practised as an international transaction lawyer in Paris and New York for four years, and in Hong Kong for six years. Since 2003, he has been based in Shanghai. In addition to cross-border M&A he deals often with private equity and project transactions. Simon has significant experience in project development and financing, in particular BOT structures in the power, water, transportation and gas sectors. Simon is fluent in Chinese, English and French.
