We have extensive experience of PFI/PPP in the NHS, acting for NHS trusts, funders and consortia. We understand the legal structure of the health service, the changes to the way the service will be managed and funded and the issues raised by the clinical interface. Our experience dates from the earliest health PFI schemes where, as advisers to NHS trusts, we advised on seven major hospital schemes through to financial close.
We continue to contribute to the development of PFI/PPP in the NHS and are very familiar with recent developments such as Foundation Trust status (on which we advise the Department of Health) and the inclusion of medical equipment in schemes.
