Overview

Our employment practice is a market-leader, advising on all forms of employment-related matters – disputes, transactional and strategic employment issues. 

We act primarily for leading financial institutions and multinationals.  Our practice covers:

 

  • Employment Tribunal claims (particularly discrimination)
  • High Court litigation including executive and team moves
  • terms of employment including bonus provisions, handbooks and policies
  • executive severances and board reorganisations
  • complex corporate transactions, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions and public to private transactions
  • collective matters involving trade unions and works councils

Clients for whom we have acted recently include BAT, Blackstone, Chevron, Goldman Sachs, Resolution, Tata, Fortune Brands, Citigroup and Credit Suisse

Our practice is a global one and we operate an international network of employment lawyers through colleagues in Paris and  Asia, at Gleiss Lutz and Stibbe and at other firms where we have close ties.
